WHAT IS THE ASCENT PROGRAM?
The Concurrent Enrollment Program allows students to continue to take college-level, guarantee transfer or approved courses after the senior year has been completed. This “5th Year” program is called ASCENT, and through this program, Aurora School/Options School will pay the tuition and instructional fees portion of each student’s college bill for three (3) consecutive semesters beginning in the fall after the senior year (fall, spring, and summer semesters). Books, other fees, room and board, and transportation, etc. are not paid for through the ASCENT program.

The Concurrent Enrollment Act requires that each school district must submit to the Colorado Department of Education a list of students who wish to participate in the ASCENT program by September 1st of the students’ senior year.
