CAP & GOWN:
The graduates will wear a black cap and gown (Graduates will get to choose their color of tassel). The cost for the cap and gown is $40 (please make checks payable to APS). Please submit a check along with their head size, height, weight, and tassel color choice to Renee by the due date.
Please submit payment and specifications for cap and gown on or before February 5, 2010
PHOTO STORY:
We will present a photo story of each graduate at the Graduation Ceremony. In order to do this I need 35-40 pictures of your child from birth until now (including the Senior picture). Please choose pictures of good quality (not blurry, dark, torn, etc.) and size (no wallets or pictures larger than 5 x 7). If you have digital pictures please put them on a disc for me. Either arrange them or number the back of your pictures so I know what order that you want them presented. I will also need you to choose a song to go along with the photo story. You can give me the original CD or you can burn one with your song on it. All items submitted will be returned to you.
Please submit all photo story items on or before March 5, 2010 (Senior Picture needs to be submitted by April 23rd)
CEREMONY DATE/TIME:
The graduation ceremony will be held at Orchard Road Christian Center on Friday May 14, 2010 at 10:00a.m.in the Luke Room Auditorium.
DIPLOMAS:
You will be presenting your child with their High School Diploma at the Graduation Ceremony. Please turn in their diplomas on May 7th so that I can have them when I set up for the ceremony. You can put them in a diploma holder or roll it up and tie it with a ribbon. It is up to you how you want to present it.
I will also need a list of accomplishments during their High School years (i.e. academic awards, sports, NHS, National Merit, etc.)and what their plans are after graduation to read as the diploma is being presented.
Graduation should be a memorable moment for both you and your child. If there is something special you would like to do for your child at the ceremony, please let me know so I can schedule it into the program. I am also open to suggestions for any ideas that you might have to personalize the ceremony for your child.
